We use a 1" heavy duty strap supported on
heavy-gauge steel eye-bolts to suspend the net
at the top of the poles. This strap has a
burst strength of over 3500 lbs/in2. Our
"triple fail-safe" design is unmatched in the
industry. |
Competitors typically use cheap elastic loops
held up only by thin foam. A young child can
easily collapse the net during an impact or
just grab the top and pull it down. |
|
We use high tensile strength, German Cross
Linked springs. Our springs are longer
(8-1/2") than those found on standard backyard
units, and are tapered at each end for
extended life and a smoother bounce. 112
springs are included for maximum weight
configuration. |
Ordinary round trampolines use 84 to 96 short
(5.5" to 6") springs. Short springs absorb 36%
less energy; they bottom-out and kick back
quickly. This gives the body less time to
transfer energy, causing unnecessary injuries.
The bed feels harder, unforgiving and less
springy |
|
AlleyOop's beds are made of industry leading
Permatron® Fabric, a tightly knit, UV
resistant polypropylene mesh. The two beds are
interchangeable, extending the life of your
system. The edges of the beds are carefully
stitched, resulting in 10 complete rows of
parallel stitching. Six of these rows are
carefully placed below a UV shield, designed
to prevent premature failure of the threads.
|
Standard trampolines use a total of only 6 or
8 rows of stitching, with threads that are
exposed to the sun's damaging UV rays. This
causes the stitching to come apart. |
 |
28 ounce heavy-duty outdoor grade rip-stop
PVC, with welded seams. Our 1-1/2" thick,
high-density closed cell foam exceeds ASTM
Standards. |
Standard pads are usually woven nylon with
sewn seams and minimum thickness foam. |

|
We start with heavy gauge steel that is
specially treated inside and out. Then we
apply a textured forest green powder coat
finish (like you find on expensive outdoor
patio furniture) for lasting beauty and
durability. This finish has a lifetime
warranty!
|
Standard zinc plating or spray paint is
applied over lighter gauge steel. |
|
|
Our enclosures use soft-to-the-touch woven
netting. The open weave netting on AlleyOop's
enclosure permits better visibility, and gives
an off-balance jumper a way to catch himself
to avoid falls on the trampoline, springs, or
frame. Includes ASTM-conforming non-finger
snagging aperture weave pattern. |
Competitors use a lightweight netting or
off-fabric/ shade cloth. Burst strength
testing: AlleyOop's net withstands 575
lbs/in2, versus the competition at 215 lbs/in2
or less. Unsightly shade cloth fabric nets
block out views of landscaping. |
|
The tops of the poles are protected with
impact-absorbing ball caps. Our caps are fixed
in place, so they canˆt be taken off or
accidentally knocked loose. Our black color
helps to resist damage caused by UV exposure.
|
Most competitors use a loose-fitting "slip on"
design cap. This cap can easily come off,
either on purpose or accidentally, exposing
your children to sharp parts. |
|
We design and engineer our products in the USA
to the highest standards. The Fun & Fitness
Center is designed for a maximum user weight
of 250 lbs. (with all 112 springs installed)
or 225 lbs. when 84 springs are installed (we
strongly recommend this configuration when
most users are under 150 lbs.—please refer to
the Owner's Manual). The Fun & Fitness Center
meets or exceeds all applicable ASTM
standards. Not recommended for children under
age six. |
Most safety enclosures are rated to withstand
only 4 impacts! For manufacturers to use such
a low number of impacts to rate their products
is unconscionable. Every parent knows that
kids, being kids, will certainly impact the
enclosure many times more that just 4 times.
Our enclosures will stand up to over 100
impacts!
Most backyard trampolines are rated for only
200 lbs.or less. |

|
Our patented enclosure system is proven to be
more than 3 times as strong as the nearest
competitor, and is the first and only
enclosure to successfully pass rigorous
head-to-head impact testing without any
fatigue or failure during a recent ASTM
Enclosure Task Group meeting (as witnessed by
the Consumer Product Safety Commissionˆs
engineer) |
All other competitive enclosures failed or
showed stress damage with just a few impacts! |
|
|
Limited Lifetime—the best in the industry!
|
Mass market trampolines have shorter, prorated
warranties. |
|
AlleyOop's Fun & Fitness Center is so unique
and packed with enhanced features that it has
been awarded two patents and has many pending
patents.

No patented safety innovations. |
